The Story of Ruth being redeemed by Boaz is a typology of the Church being redeemed by Jesus. It culminates at harvest and threshing time.
Ruth 2
17 So she gleaned in the field until even, and beat out that she had gleaned: and it was about an ephah of barley.
an ephah was equivalent to a days work according to verse above. 1 day = 1 ephah
Ruth 3
15 Also he said, “Bring the shawl that is on you and hold it.” And when she held it, he measured six ephahs of barley, and laid it on her. Then she went into the city.
18 Then said she (Naomi)), Sit still, my daughter, until thou know how the matter will fall: for the man will not be in rest, until he have finished the thing this day.
after 6 ephahs, the Man (Christ) will finish the thing this day, then rest
After 6 she (the Bride of Christ=Church) went into the city (New Jerusalem).
Boaz (Christ) said 4:10 Moreover, Ruth the Moabitess, the widow of Mahlon, (The Church) I have acquired as my wife, to perpetuate the name of the dead through his inheritance, that the name of the dead may not be cut off from among his brethren and from his position at the gate. You are witnesses this day.”
