Ezekiel chapter 8 and 9 is a prophetic parallel of Revelation. In chapter 8, there is a description of spiritual harlotry where God's people are worshipping idols, Tammuz, and the Sun.
In chapter 9, the few people who sigh and cry over the abominations are given a mark on the forehead (called the seal of God in Revelation), that protects them from the wrath of God.
Then follows judgement, beginning at the house of the Lord (1 Pet.4:17).

Ezek 9:2
"And, behold, **six** men came from the way of the higher gate, which lieth toward the north, and every man a slaughter weapon in his hand; and one man among them was clothed with linen, with a writer's inkhorn by his side: and they went in, and stood beside the brasen altar."

Is it a coincidence that the greatest of the abominations was Sun worship and today, most of God's people keep Sunday rather than the Sabbath Day? The Papacy claims Sunday as their "mark of authority".
God made the Sabbath Holy. It still is Holy. This is the mark of His authority, the seal of God.
A seal has 3 parts: name, title, territory: Lord, Creator, Heaven and Earth.

Exod. 20:11
"For in six days the Lord made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the Lord blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it."

So no one needs that seal you are talking about.

Rev. 7:2-3
2 Then I saw another angel ascending from the east, having the seal of the living God. And he cried with a loud voice to the four angels to whom it was granted to harm the earth and the sea, 3 saying, “Do not harm the earth, the sea, or the trees till we have sealed the servants of our God on their foreheads.”

In Revelation 7:1-8, we find that the 144,000 all come from the nation of Israel. In Revelation 7:9-17, the very next verses in Scripture, we find that there is a “great multitude which no one could number of all nations, tribes, peoples, and tongues, standing before the throne and before the Lamb.” Thus, there is 144,000 virgin Israelite males who are sealed and who stand before God as the first fruits. But first fruits always implies that there are many others. And this is what the rest of Revelation 7 teaches. Besides the 144,000 Israelite males, there is a great multitude of all nations that make it to heaven and are in the presence of God.
Staying focused on this clearly
These are they which were not defiled with women; for they are virgins. These are they which follow the Lamb whithersoever he goeth. These were redeemed from among men, being the firstfruits unto God and to the Lamb.

While I would never argue against the Sabbath since Jesus himself said :
"Matthew 5:19
Whoever therefore breaks one of the least of these commandments, and teaches men so, shall be called least in the kingdom of heaven; but whoever does and teaches them, he shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven."
And believe me the 4th commandment is far from being the least of the commandments. Almost the entire Messiah 2030 presentation has example after example why it would still matter to keep the sabbath specifically on the seventh day!
That being said I wouldn't say Ezekiel 8-9 have anything to do with the sabbath, and it would be a big stretch to connect the seal on the forehead with it.
I do agree with the connection with Revelation however. Check out the thread "The Whore of Babylon and the Northern Kingdom".

To futher clarify the point. The sabbath is a sign between YHWH and His people, but does that really mean that everyone that keeps the sabbath are his people? Is anyone who was circumcised automatically a son of Abraham? I think it is likely that everyone in Ezekiel 8&9 were sabbath keepers, they just liked to worship other gods too. Many secular Jews today also keep the sabbath.
And since we are on the theme of the book of Revelation, let me also suggest that the 7 letters to the Assemblies are filled with warnings that go far beyond just sabbath day observance.

Regarding the 144000

Numbers 31 is the precursor to the 1440000. Here there are only 1000 men from each tribe but they go to battle against the forces of Balaam and Balak who are also precursors to the Antichrist and the False Prophet. Notice how not one man was lost. Now in Revelation we have an army 12 times greater and the forces of Beast 1 and Beast 2 will not prevail against them either.

Regarding the Book of Revelation,

There are 7 blessings mentioned in it (there's that number again!) of which 2 are essentially the same, which certainly emphasizes the importance of them. It should be one of the first things we realize when we start reading the book and one of the last things we realize when we finish reading it. Since that is where they are mentioned, in the very beginning and at the very end. Does that sound familiar ? Have you heard that before? The beginning and the end, the first and the last.

"Blessed is the one who reads aloud the words of this prophecy, and blessed are those who hear and obey what is written in it, because the time is near." Revelation 1:3

and

“Behold, I am coming soon. Blessed is the one who keeps the words of prophecy in this book."
Revelation 22:7

Now if Messiah 2030 is correct about the time of the return (basing it off of the Millennial Days is the most fundamentally sound method IMHO), then would that not mean that the Book of Revelation was specifically written for us?
