We've been in the last days since then. But you must stop telling yourself and others that there is no "great tribulation" ahead. Matthew 24:21 "For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be."

There certainly is a time of severe tribulation such as never has been before nor ever will be again. It is compressed into a 42 month timeframe or a seven year period with a climactic final 42 months.

Please trust the Word.

But let's try a verse that regards Gentiles in prophecy for a period of 42 "months" in prophecy. Day/Year prophetic timeline used.
There are 365.24 days in our modern solar year, or John's 1st century Julian (365.25) year, divided by 12 months = 30.44 average days in a month:

4. Revelation 11:2: But the court which is without the temple leave out, and measure it not; for it is given unto the Gentiles: and the holy city shall they tread under foot forty [and] two months.

The city of Jerusalem was under the foot of, or controlled by, Gentiles until the Israelis took back the holy city in 1967. 42 months x 30.44 days = 1278.5 days (as years). Subtracting this from 1967 we arrive at 688.5. The founding year of the Dome of the Rock. "Abomination of Desolation.

also, when problem involving 1260 "days" in prophecy, from John's vision detailed in Revelation. Quoting from "The False Prophet": "In 1569, the great Anabaptist theologian, Thieleman Van Braght, wrote the following in Martyrs Mirror, pages 21-24: 'a thousand two hundred and threescore days, which reckoned according to prophetic language means as many years… let it be reckoned as it may, say we, as a very long period of time." (more) What might we find if we apply this "language of prophecy" to the problem we are assigned by scripture?

3. Revelation 12:6 (KJV): And the woman fled into the wilderness, where she hath a place prepared of God, that they should feed her there a thousand two hundred [and] threescore days.

There is no shortage of agreement that Israel, is the "woman" in the context of this verse. If we then consider that the end of the 1260 "days" was when Israel came out of "the wilderness" (of the people Ezekiel 20:35), or out from being scattered among the nations, returning home and declaring her independence in 1948, and subtract 1260 years ("each day for a year"), we arrive at 688 AD. Again,

You're quite stuck on that theory. But it's what we call conjecture. Amusing but not scripture. You have to understand 42. Not just change the meaning so you can keep getting back to your theory.

My humble suggestion to you is to take ALL religion out of your eschatology. No Jews, gentiles, Islam etcetera. The "religion" that is mentioned in Revelation is "mystery Babylon". And all religions have been seduced by that whore.

Israel is not a political or religious nation. It's a family and if you are in Christ, you are adopted into the family.

"Jews" should normally be read as Yahudim : translated 'people of Yahuah" or God's people. Yes it can also specifically mean people of the tribe of Judah or from Judea. This is not meant to ignore that there is a religious group called Jews and a nation called Israel. Just that you should not be misdirected by those while reading scriptures.

I hope this helps. And I hope you see that there is a reason 42 months is said that way.

BTW, the number of days in a year is 364, according to Enoch and Jubilees. That number also never disturbs the day of the week where Feasts are to occur because it is divisible by 7.

Also 42 is 7 sixes. Or 6 sevens. Ponder that.
