Just want to note and get input on the 2 witnesses. 7 years before the 7th trumpet God gives power to His 2 witnesses. This 7 year period is made into two 3.5 year periods. The first half the 2 witnesses are given power to be bold and do many miraculous things. That is followed by the second half where the beast rises and makes war on them. I see this as a poetic picture of the last days church made up with Jew and Gentile believers in Jesus. Could we be on the cusp of that first 3.5 years?! So exciting!
2 witnesses
Most place the seven trumpets in Revelation within the 3.5 year Great Tribulation, including us. We know that the two witnesses are only here for 1260 days (3.5 years) and die at the 6th trumpet. Thus, we expect the two witnesses to arrive on or near the abomination of desolation that would be perhaps arriving in Spring 2027.
DETAILS:
TIMING OF THE TWO WITNESSES
The total timeline of the two witnesses is 1260 days (Rev 11:3). They die at the second woe (Rev. 11:14). The second woe is also the 6th trumpet (Rev. 9:12 - Three woes are the last three of seven (3/7) trumpets). The 3rd woe / 7th trumpet (3/7) follows SOON after the 2nd woe and 6th trumpet (Rev. 11:14). This means that the two witnesses likely arrive at or very near the Abomination of Desolation (Spring 2027) which kickstarts the 3.5 year Great Tribulation.
We already know that the first resurrection is at the last/7th trumpet and occurs soon after the death of the two witnesses. The two witnesses lie dead for 3.5 days. We suspect that the two witnesses are thus resurrected at the same time as everyone else (3rd woe/7th Trumpet), since the Messiah's cloud is already in the sky (Rev. 11:12).
We believe that there are only 3.5 years of Daniel's 70th week left. There is no seven-year tribulation. To explain this properly requires more time than we have, but we do intend on producing a presentation on this eventually.
SUMMARY
In Daniel 9:27, in the Aramaic, we are told that someone "strengthens (gabar)" a covenant, not that a covenant is "made." Thus, a covenant already exists and it strengthened. This is the work of Messiah Yeshua who "strengthened" a covenant with us "enacted by better promises (Hebrews 8). This process will take 7 years, from 26 CE to 30 CE (3.5 years) and from 2027 CE to 2030 CE (3.5 years).
DETAILS
The 70th week of Daniel is based on Daniel 9. In our studies, the 70th week began in Fall 26 C.E. and temporarily ended Spring 30 C.E. when Messiah Yeshua was cut off. We know this because it was the Messiah who strengthened (gabar) the New Covenant, and is related to the scope of Messianic work detailed by Daniel 9:
"to finish the transgression, to put an end to sin, and to atone for iniquity, to bring in everlasting righteousness, to seal both vision and prophet, and to anoint a most holy place."
The Messiah fulfilled the first half of the work in 30 C.E. which took 3.5 years and he was then "cut off."
to finish the transgression, to put an end to sin, and to atone for iniquity,
The Messiah will then fulfill the second half of the work ending in 2030 C.E. and will again take another 3.5 years:
to bring in everlasting righteousness, to seal both vision and prophet, and to anoint a most holy place."
While the Antichrist is mentioned in Daniel 9, the "he" who "strengthens (gabar) the covenant is not the AC, but refers back to the Messiah, as the context and focus of Daniel 9. Daniel 9's focus is not the AC, but the Messiah (see the 6 goals of the Messiah as the scope of the Messiah's work for the 70th week), and western eschatology has mistakenly made the focus of Daniel 9 about an antichrist when that is not really the point.
The structure of Daniel 9 in the Aramaic is a Hebraic poetic dichotomy, in which the subject bounces back and forth between what the Messiah is doing to strengthen the covenant, and what the AC is doing to attempt to stop it.
The "he" who strengthens a covenant (new covenant) is Messiah Yeshua, but he was cut off at his death after 3.5 years. The process will pick back up again at the Great Tribulation which is, of course, 3.5 years in length. The Messiah will then finish the remaining action items that need to be finished, concluding with anointing the Most Holy when Messiah Yeshua establishes the millennial temple (Ezekiel 40-48).
Thus, there are only 3.5 years left, which is why Daniel 12 only mentions 3.5 years and Revelation only mentions 3.5 years‚ because there are only 3.5 years left to go related to the 70th week.
CONCLUSION
The net net of it is this. It is the six things that the Messiah must do in order to "strengthen" the new covenant (Daniel 9:25). As an example, did the Messiah "atone for iniquity" in his 3.5 years of his first coming after the 69th week?
Of course he did.
Since that is true, then the Messiah's first coming of 3.5 years MUST be inclusive of part of the 70th week, and 7 minus 3.5 leaves us with just 3.5 years left.
Daniel 9:25-26
Know therefore and understand that from the going out of the word to restore and build Jerusalem to the coming of an anointed one, a prince, there shall be SEVEN weeks. Then for SIXTY-TWO weeks (7+62 = 69 THUS ONLY ONE WEEK LEFT) it shall be built again with squares and moat, but in a troubled time. And AFTER the sixty-two weeks, an anointed one shall be cut off and shall have nothing.
This means that the Messiah is cut off (dies) AFTER, NOT BEFORE, the 69th week (i.e. 70th week) which ALSO means that the Messiah's death is part of the 70th week, 3.5 years after his arrival 483 years (69 weeks) after the decree.
If the messiah completed the first 3.5 years then He has to fulfill the second half as well. What does His second ministry look like?
It is detailed in the prophets and Revelation. It is a global call to repentance (tribulation), first resurrection (rapture), the start of the reign of the Messiah, the vengeance/wrath of YHWH, Promised Land, and anointing the Most Holy Place.
A view from my porch. First off, great job on video's revealing that D9 was all about the Messiah. I had known for years but gave up teaching because all the church is....was in on the 7 year fairy tale that Lindsey taught. Now take your video backwards in the scriptures.. You and I believe that 2030 is the year or close but for argument sake let's say that is the date. Before the Messiah can return the church has a great falling away and the man of perdition has to be revealed 2 Thess.2 I think. So if there is 7 years left, has there been a great falling away from the faith? absolutely. But people who learned their religion from a fallen religion wouldn't know that
they are being led astray. They can scream all they want that the AC makes a 7 year covenant but that don't make it true because it wasn't biblical. Like the 7 year rapture, half the church just got their hearts broke the other day. You just put a big whole in the fairy tail with your video..P.S. The article I posted... I was handing you guys the Lawless one, the man of perdition only you don't believe it because it's something you have never heard before. Just like 10 years ago, I said there is no way that is the AC in Daniel 9, it's the Messiah and they though I was crazy then. I'm used to it, the Lord will get it out though...I wont post anymore unless you contact me, in that case you have my e-mail. Really great job on the video..May the Lord bless and keep you.
While I agree and am very intrigued by the timing of 2030 I am still holding the view of the book of revelation being apocalyptic literature and the vision of the 2 witnesses being a picture of the final 7 years before the return of Jesus. The second half 3.5 years being the great tribulation. And actually if you start reading that visions from the end of chapter 10 John is told he will prophesy about many people across the world. Everything is lining up with God giving power to His 2 witnesses 7 years before His second coming. And if your interpretation of that happening in 2030 that is on the cusp of happening. Revivals are breaking out across the world!
You might get comfortable reading the Old testament, it speaks way more about the end time than the New Testament by far. Who are the two witnesses? Have you studied the whole bible at all? Every thing was told to the Prophets as the Messiah said, "today in your hearing, the Scriptures are fulfilled". They tell everything so why do people guess?
