Can someone please let me know where else in the Bible the jubilee years are used to explain a passage of time? The film mentioned one but I cannot find it. I'm looking for a specific jubilee year that actually prophesied an event that can be verified. Many thanks.

If you have the time (and inclination) could you please help me to understand Daniel 8:14
(2300 until the cleansing of the temple)?
If you add 40 and 390 (proportioned time of punishment from Ezekiel) you get to 2730, which calculates to 2029/30 if you take away 701 (the siege of Jerusalem).
I just don't understand why you add the 40 and 390 years as only one is used for the 701 date.
I just cannot get my head around the use of these numbers.
Also, can you throw any light on the dates at the end of Daniel (1290 and 1335)? How do they fit in with 2030?
