[Daniel 12:1-2 NKJV] 1 "At that time Michael shall stand up, The great prince who stands [watch] over the sons of your people; And there shall be a time of trouble, Such as never was since there was a nation, [Even] to that time. And at that time your people shall be delivered, Every one who is found written in the book. 2 And many of those who sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, Some to everlasting life, Some to shame [and] everlasting contempt.

Who are those who awake to shame and everlasting contempt? We know the wicked are not resurrected until the judgment at the great white throne (Rev 20:11-15).

Personally, I have a rather unpopular stance that there is no millennium kingdom and that the judgement of the wicked happens at the same time as the righteous. It's interesting that the word 'many' is used instead of 'all' though. Why not all?

Dan 12:2 Of those sleeping in the earth's dust shall awake, some to everlasting life (first res), and some to reproaches (second res) and to everlasting abhorrence third res. Those in the second resurrection fell for the lies of Christianity, Islam, and other religions. Also people such as young children or non-religious people etc. Remember; John 12:47 If anyone listens to my sayings, and doesn't believe, I don't judge him. For I came not to judge the world, but to save the world. This is what the Last Great Day following the Feast of Tabernacles is all about. Most likely not many will suffer the "hell fire".
