My Two Witnesses
2nd paragraph you added “what he is saying…” And put words into Gods mouth which is blasphemy
Therefore the rest is build on a false premise.

@Steven
It’s interesting what you have written. I was wondering, for a long time, who this Michael (great prince) from Daniel 12:1 is, and how will his “standing up” look like (which I guess would occur in the beginning of Great Tribulation). It was hard for me to imagine, that if this Michael would be Michael the Archangel, then how would an archangel appear on Earth amongst humans, and do all those tasks related to his “standing up”. Will this Michael the Archangel be incarnated in some human, or will this Michael be a normal human but operating in the spirit/power of Michael the Archangel – those were the questions. For a moment before, I was also wondering, if Michael the Archangel, is in some way connected to the Two Witnesses. What was hard for me to imagine, was seeing invisible being like angel/archangel wearing a physical sackcloth – like we know the Two Witnesses will wear. But what you have written is interesting. Whoever this Michael (great prince) is, and whoever the Two Witnesses are, I think they are in some way connected, cause it seems that their actions start in the same moment in time – maybe in the beginning of Great Tribulation (perhaps in the beginning of this final 3.5 years). But maybe you are right. Maybe the Two Witnesses are Archangel Gabriel and Archangel Michael. Your explanation was convincing.
.
Let me suggest to you that Michael the archangel is in fact not an angel but the commander of the angels, Jesus Christ. Doug Batchelor gives a lot of good supporting bible evidence for this:
Secondly, the Two Witnesses represent the Holy Scripture. Also known as the Law and the Prophets, personified by Moses and Elijah, who have the power to shut up the heavens so that it will not rain during the time they are prophesying (Elijah did that); and they have power to turn the waters into blood (Moses did that) and to strike the earth with every kind of plague as often as they want. (Moses again)
Rev. 11 also likens them to the two candlesticks (Thy Word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path.) The olive oil that powers the light is the Holy Spirit.
Unfortunately, these old truths have been forgotten by modern Protestantism in favor of the Futurism view of Revelation created by Francisco Ribera to counter the Reformation, which correctly identified the Papacy as fulfilling every biblical attribute of the antichrist. That too is an important truth that has been successfully buried by this power.
Hog Wash. Unless you believe that I am he you will die in your sins. Jesus is God manifest in the flesh. The Lamb of God. This is Jehovah Witness pixy dust.
Jehovah’s Witnesses believe Michael to be Jesus
I think they do believe that.
They do not believe that Jesus is the Son of God. He certainly is the Son of God.
See Zechariah 4 "...These are the two anointed ones..."
regarding the two witness, they are individuals.
The bible tells us in Rev 11:4 that the two witness's are the two olive trees and the two lampstands. Both symbolize the two churches. The Jewish church is the natural olive tree, and the gentile church is the wild olive tree. Both are also symbolized as the two lampstands and are referred to as the body of Christ.
As they can be killed
As they lay in the street for 3 days
As they will be called up and do so
I agree they are two men
@Looking Up
Thank you for the link to Doug Batchelor’s teaching. I wrote a comment underneath this video of his, but I didn’t get an answer from him. His teaching about Michael being Jesus’ other name (but Him being the Son of God and a Second Person of the Trinity - not a created angel as JW believe) was very interesting for me. If I may, I would like to paste this question I wrote to Doug Batchelor on YouTube, and ask you @Looking Up, cause maybe you could give me an answer.
So the question I wrote to Doug Batchelor goes as follows:
“Dear Doug Batchelor, your presentation was great, and I want to ask you about Daniel 8:9-12 regarding Michael. These verses were always strange for me, cause it seemed that this "little horn" was presented there as the one who is almost as powerful as prince of the host or host of heaven. I always thought that this prince of the host is Michael the Archangel - but in a way he is commonly understood as a created being. So I thought that "little horn" could only be almost as powerful as prince of the host, if prince of the host - Michael the Archengel - would be a created being. My understanding was that "little horn" could never be even close to as powerful as God (if prince of the host would be God) and that is why I thought that he could only be almost as powerful as a created being (being Michael the Archangel). But now I think that this prince of the host is God, Jesus. What are your thoughts about Daniel 8:9-12 regarding prince of the host being Michael the Archangel being Jesus, and what are your thoughts about "little horn" magnifying himself even to the prince of the host - how to understand this regarding Michael being God/Jesus? Please let me know”.
What are your thought about this @Looking Up?
Daniel 8:9-12 ⬇
9 And out of one of them came forth a little horn, which waxed exceeding great, toward the south, and toward the east, and toward the pleasant land.
10 And it waxed great, even to the host of heaven; and it cast down some of the host and of the stars to the ground, and stamped upon them.
11 Yea, he magnified himself even to the prince of the host, and by him the daily sacrifice was taken away, and the place of his sanctuary was cast down.
12 And an host was given him against the daily sacrifice by reason of transgression, and it cast down the truth to the ground; and it practised, and prospered.
2 Thessalonians 2:3-4
3 "Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; 4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God."
Daniel 8:23-25
"23 And in the latter time of their kingdom, when the transgressors are come to the full, a king of fierce countenance, and understanding dark sentences, shall stand up. 24 And his power shall be mighty, but not by his own power: and he shall destroy wonderfully, and shall prosper, and practice, and shall destroy the mighty and the holy people. 25 And through his policy also he shall cause craft to prosper in his hand; and he shall magnify himself in his heart, and by peace shall destroy many: he shall also stand up against the Prince of princes; but he shall be broken without hand."
I think the little horn appears to be powerful through lying signs and wonders. But he exalts himself. "understands dark sentences" He is empowered by "spiritual wickedness in heavenly places" But he cannot overpower the Creator.
I will do the best I can to give you my thoughts on the little horn- although I don't claim to understand every prophecy. A horn is a kingdom or king according to Gabriel in Daniel.
Daniel 2 and 7 describe the same series of kingdoms, 3 of which are named in the book of Daniel:
Babylon, Medo-Persia, Greece, Rome.
History gives us the dates:
Babylonian Kingdom 612 BC – 539 BC
Medo-Persian 539 BC – 331 BC
Greece 331 BC – 168 BC
Roman Empire 168 BC – 476 AD
Revelation 13 describes a beast that is a composite of those 4 kingdoms. This is an important connection and helps to identify the antichrist that came from those kingdoms and retains traits of each.
Western Rome fragmented into 10 kingdoms (10 toes of Daniel 2, 10 horns of Daniel 7). Modern names in parenthesis:
Allemani (Germany), Franks (France), Burgundian (Switzerland), Suevi (Portugal), Visigoths (Spain), Lombards (Italy), Anglos Saxons (England), Heruli, Vandals, Ostrogoths.
The last three are extinct because they were uprooted by the little horn power.
The little horn power is the same blasphemous power that claims to be equal to God and sits in the temple of God.
The temple of God is not a physical temple. Jesus said it was left unto you desolate. The kingdom of God is a spiritual temple made up of people: Jesus is the chief cornerstone, the foundation are the apostles and prophets, we are living stones (Eph 2:20, 1 Peter 2:5, many others.) [A third physical temple with animal sacrifice would not be a temple of God it would be blasphemy against the true Lamb of God]
So, this little horn is a civil power that uprooted those three kingdoms, claims to be God, sits in the spiritual temple of God, seeks to change times and laws, has the number of 666, had a deadly wound that was healed, and made war with the saints for 1260 days (years) [538AD-1798AD]
There is only one power that fits all of the specifications and all of the Reformers agreed who this is.
quotes from this power:

The Great Encyclical Letters of Pope Leo XIII, p. 304, June 20, 1894
“The Pope and God are the same, so he has all power in Heaven and earth.”
(Pope Pius V, quoted in Barclay, Chapter XXVII, p. 218, ” Cities Petrus Bertanous”)
“The Pope is of so great dignity, and so exalted that he is not a mere man, but as it were God and the vicar of God.”
Ferraris Ecclesiastical dictionary
“The strong and effective instrument of salvation is none other than the Roman Pontificate.”
Pope Leo XIII,
Allocution for the 25th anniversary of his election,
